What’s so wrong with being a kid? Children are people, people are children – all of us on some level. What is so wrong about relying on others? Is it not true that there are natural instances for when relying on others takes precedence? Perhaps for some of us we have symbiotic relationships, maybe things are mutually beneficial – though we differ extremely. And then, there are those of us that are codependent or dependent on others as a natural course – whether chosen, or selected by default (genetics, disability, etc) Who are we to judge those that need others to support them? That need others to improve their quality…

Fuck ’em. Walking our pug late at night on our “weekend”, my partner checked the mailbox and found another ‘call for donations’ from the President Obama campaign for funding the political party… My partner tossed the letter in the trash. Biden talked about this. He promised that. And what happened? Nothing. My partner went on to remind me: $2000 a month COVID-19 stimulus check? Only the $1400 per working individual in March 2021 to round out the $600 from the turn of the year(?) It is May, no further “monthly” check ideas… Student Loan Forgiveness? That fell by the wayside. Disappointment. Chagrin. Would have been nice for many of us.…

The Giant Otter… (“God’s Design Team”)
God’s Design Team, a whimsical, Japanese animation spin on how the various creatures on Earth came into existence. Today I learned about the “Giant” Otter that is, of course, larger than the other otters, but more so, they are able to take on or fight small kamen, in addition to other larger creatures – either for eating or just being territorial. The Giant Otter (no longer cute!) And so another animation has taught me about something that always existed in the world, but was never important enough to come to my attention until now…

Humans Change
So, I put my “honey-moon” bathing suit in the Good-Will bag today. I keep telling myself “next year I’ll be able to fit back into this – or maybe next year” and how proud I would be with a before and after photo showing how much I am still the same person I was in 2008 as I am in 20–whatever. It is in the active support and participation with surrounding communities, environments, families, and friends that we see the greatest impacts in our world and in the lives of others. Ask yourself: Where’s the movement in your life? are you thriving? or just surviving?

Moments in Life
There are moments in life where you get an impression or reflection of what might come. I have had an impression that some day I will live another life. One beyond the one I live now. One with new relationships that will be important, relevant, and special in their own way. … at the very least these will and can happen – in the end. That is what is important to remember.

Meaninglessness
On a somewhat abandoned factory exterior facing wall someone spray-painted the word, in its entirety, “MEANINGLESSNESS”. I am not what my family tradition and identity had brought me up to be, but I was definitely molded by those experiences and that history to be basically the person I am today. Concentration
Concentration is difficult in this day and age! There is a lot of ways to divide our time and countless ways of instructing, training, applying oneself to the task at hand – but actually following through on something – especially if you’re a chronic self-starter like me – you find yourself surrounded by projects that were started, or in the steps of getting to that point – but never finished. In addition to these steps in modernization and technologies – the accessibility to others through social media and just electronics (i.e. phones, e-mail, notification bumps, pings, computers) is OVERWHELMING for any human being – hearkening back to when Drew Barrymore…

Rockets, Protests, & a Pandemic
“We want justice for all…” announcer for rocket commencement speech said in reference to shingata corona and why Musk would move forward with sending several astronauts into space during the current national emergencies… Busily marking on my Samsung 6, I muttered, “Like hell you do – what does justice have to do with a virus?
