*IT’S A SMALL WORLD AFTER ALL*
Loved that ride at Disney, It’s a Small World After All… but I’ve realized something very important… that is impacting human and social relations on a weird scale and in an awkward way. “The world is not as big as you think it is!”; “The world just keeps getting smaller and smaller”; “Wow, it’s such a small world. Fancy meeting you here…”; “Well you know, it’s a small world – getting smaller by the day”; “Wouldn’t you know! It’s a small world after all…”; The underlying assumption is that people are getting closer together… that we are getting access to what and who we need when we need it and…

Movements: A story of inspiration
Thank you for your interest in “Where’s the Movement?” The question is meant to be interpreted and asked in a multitude of ways, forms, expressions, and applied in every possible fashion… My intention is that it be an ongoing, never-ending quest and question. E.g. Is that thing moving over there? Is there a “Movement” going on? Where are you moving to? What are you moving for? What moves you? Is the Movement benefiting you? Movements you should be aware of… Movements that have ended, been disregarded, discarded, -kaPUT! What moves those you love? What moves those around you? Is there a Movement you want to know more about? Is there…

First Real Bloom
So the first one to bloom outside the wild strawberries – those from the Winco flower mix dry-seed packets – one solitary light purple, blue-pink Sweet Pea Mix the last several days. And now, we have one solitary orange flower with dark markings (have not successfully identified which one yet) and some woven growing threads and another potential bud or two, and a wild strawberry or two… but other than that, that’s it… Since April 2nd to now (3 months, 2+ weeks, =July 20th)… not much blooming yet.

Cinnabar & Phos
In a 2017 Japanese animation series, Houseki no Kuni (Land of the Lustrous), I was taken with the no-nonsense colloquial writing, character development, voice actor performance, and drop-dead, gorgeous scenery. (for an informed discussion of deeper levels of humanity as portrayed in this manga/anime, watch the YouTube video by Avo Rabo) There is a subtle implied love story between two characters that never really fleshes out, but is imbued throughout the 12 episodes. Series that are heavily based on a theme are interesting on another level when it comes to being “informative”. These various characters are based on minerals and gems, so they are luminous and bound by their “strengths”.…

Humans Change
So, I put my “honey-moon” bathing suit in the Good-Will bag today. I keep telling myself “next year I’ll be able to fit back into this – or maybe next year” and how proud I would be with a before and after photo showing how much I am still the same person I was in 2008 as I am in 20–whatever. I have had multiple opportunities to throw this bikini out. Countless conversations in my mind, but this last week pushed my resolve. I was measured at the doctor (I do not weigh myself anymore because negative triggers abound in life, and that is one less one I could care…

Where’s the Movement?
In this day and age an important question for decisions on life, lifestyle, and your legacy in this world is “Where’s the Movement?” Where are you Going? Who or What do you Serve? It is in the active support and participation with surrounding communities, environments, families, and friends that we see the greatest impacts in our world and in the lives of others. Ask yourself: Where’s the movement in your life? are you thriving? or just surviving?

Sleep, Rest, & Productivity
As I face the “weekend” I also tally the things I have accomplish the last few remaining productive hours and days I have had prior to “absolute abandon”… I find myself getting very productive in the 24-48 hours before a weekend, so that when it is the weekend, I will hopefully do nothing at all… …but then there are times where I am recklessly productive during the “weekend” as well, or I might try to do something recklessly “fun” for a few hours or half a day with my partner.. and then time is gone, and I am back to work… wondering why I never got the rest I wanted…

Concentration
Concentration is difficult in this day and age! There is a lot of ways to divide our time and countless ways of instructing, training, applying oneself to the task at hand – but actually following through on something – especially if you’re a chronic self-starter like me – you find yourself surrounded by projects that were started, or in the steps of getting to that point – but never finished. In addition to these steps in modernization and technologies – the accessibility to others through social media and just electronics (i.e. phones, e-mail, notification bumps, pings, computers) is OVERWHELMING for any human being – hearkening back to when Drew Barrymore…

Celebrating Self
When I get a TDA, my hope is that I will spend time doing things that help me feel special or important in some way. A celebration of self. This will often involve me putting on a bathing suit for feelings of attraction or seduction (with or without my partner home or around) – or I will dress in loose or casual loungewear. If possible, I might even just stay naked for hours at a time. Not wearing something is often more comfortable and can require less mental effort. In the safety of home, it does not really matter. Today I gave my partner a brief lift to their car…

Life in Shingata Corona
Living a “normal” life in shingata corona is a bit different. Being “gay pride” month and with ongoing protests for the rights of oppressed people and the ending of Police tyranny… there are plenty of negative triggers in the news. My relationship with my partner suffers in terms of melancholy mood, struggles with couple focus, lowered libido, and decreased stamina or interest in doing things (could stopping T be to blame at all? hard to tell…) We both suffer from a sort of fatigue from the added layer of requirements in our jobs and daily lives due to the global virus pandemic. Oregon is opening, like other states, by county…
