Walking our pug late at night on our “weekend”, my partner checked the mailbox and found another ‘call for donations’ from the President Obama campaign for funding the political party… My partner tossed the letter in the trash.  Biden talked about this. He promised that. And what happened? Nothing. My partner went on to remind me: $2000 a month COVID-19 stimulus check? Only the $1400 per working individual in March 2021 to round out the $600 from the turn of the year(?) It is May, no further “monthly” check ideas… Student Loan Forgiveness? That fell by the wayside. Disappointment. Chagrin. Would have been nice for many of us.…
