Rockets, Protests, & a Pandemic
“We want justice for all…” announcer for rocket commencement speech said in reference to shingata corona and why Musk would move forward with sending several astronauts into space during the current national emergencies…
Busily marking on my Samsung 6, I muttered, “Like hell you do – what does justice have to do with a virus? Virus’ don’t care about justice or people, just survival… and sending rockets into space isn’t justice related at all.”
Frustrated I tried to tune out the sounds of other operators around me sharing stories of spray painted buses and flash bombs from the activity the night before.
“They’ve got, [hand motion makes rifle gesture] right?” J said. He had just arrived to the garage.
“Mm-hmm,” I responded, trying to hide my dread for the people downtown and my conflicting views with the majority of other people in the report area.
“The mayor announced [national emergency]*,” he continued using air quotes* in a winsome Korean accent.
“-so they sent the National Guard,” I tried to hide my look of disgust.
The thoughts of what these fiends had done at other protests… (eg. Abolish ICE, family separation, children in cages, Abolish Prison Slavery, BLM, etc) I cringed inwardly unable to ignore my feelings, the second-hand brutal imagery and first-hand witnessed experiences encroaching on my mind…
America was just trying to “open up” after the initial move to stem the pandemic.
As projected, opening up brought more cluster fucks of cases, forcing states to consider backing things up again (eg. WA state).

… in light of the rising death toll in complex medical patients. Yet we have no reliable scientific method or national decree forcing us to standardize and tally this shit (thanks to our f*presidency). It is unfortunate to say the least.

Even if we were to have a group of independent scientists working with Anonymous or dark web gurus to gather and tally this shit… would we even know for sure the true tallies or medical statistics – the signs???
Thankfully I was finally given the “go” to leave the garage. Glad to be free of the proud and happy voices on *live* television in the report area detailing the events of Musks’ rocket as it travels through the atmosphere into space to meet the one lonely astronaut in the space station…
People are rioting
As is their right when there is injustice and society chooses not to listen… , and it may finally be becoming more apparent to a middling section of Americans that police brutality might… exist?(!!) *gasp*
We might even have a fucking coup going on in the mid-west right now. Might as well.
Perhaps shingata corona is a blessing in disguise… only something like a virus would be large-scale enough to strike some fear into various untouched groups (my fellow operators included) that go on through life in apathy while terrible things continue to happen.
I am sad that it would have to be something this mundane to bring us together
With P-town getting shutdown tonight with this “curfew” issued by the “mayor”, I am worried about transient populations and others that will get caught up in this mess.
Without cameras and official reporters to document what happens tonight – bullies will be bullies.
And we apparently do not have enough social work staff on standby to deal with the issues people are having… so unless a bunch of Good Samaritans find their way out of the brick and woodwork to invisibly walk the streets and save those wandering around… we will have no good angels tonight. Let us pray death comes swiftly – if not at all.
